My first taste of performing came in Primary School in the usual nativity plays and then my eyes were opened to Musical Theatre at the age 9 with a production of Joseph and his Amazing technicolor Dreamcoat in which I played the role of King Herod. It was in High School though where I really started to enjoy performing after being convinced to audition for the school production of West Side Story by my music teacher and landing the role of Action. I loved every minute of it and went on to study Performing Arts and Theatre Studies at A-Level. I went into further education and graduated from Bretton Hall (Leeds University) in 2001 with a BA Hons Degree in Theatre Studies and spent my first three years acting. The after a successful Summer Season I was offered a 6 month contract as Lead Vocalist on a Cruise Ship sailing the Med, Canaries and Caribbean.
