I was booked as Wedding Singer, wedding Host and DJ for Nicola and Sean’s wedding at Styal Lodge in Wilmslow, Cheshire (near to Manchester Airport), last Friday. They booked my Gold Wedding Entertainment Package which includes hosting, singing and DJ from the wedding breakfast through to the last dance.
I arrived nice and early as it was my first time working at the venue and I knew there were road works around Manchester Airport. The venue is set amongst a golf course which provides a scenic drive leading up to the Lodge.
I found that all of the staff were very friendly and helpful which provided a fantastic first impression for me. I set up whilst the bride and groom were having photographs take down by the lake.
The venue was beautifully dressed and perfectly in keeping with the rustic theme were these stunning light up letters.
Wedding Host Cheshire
My first duty of the day was to introduce the new Mr & Mrs Rooney into the room for their wedding breakfast. Nicola had chosen Crazy In Love by Beyoncé as their song to enter the room to which lifted the atmosphere and prepared guests for what was to be a fantastic day.
I started the wedding breakfast with singing That’s Amore by Dean Martín which had everyone singing along and spinning their napkins in the air.
Once the main course was finished I took the entertainment up a gear and had guests up out of their seats and dancing around the room.

By the end of the wedding breakfast all of the wedding guests were on the dance floor singing and dancing to me singing, 500 miles by The Proclaimers.
Into the evening I announced the Cake Cut at 8pm which was then followed by the first dance. Nicola and Sean chose Dusk Till Dawn by Zayn feat Sia.
I then followed the first dance with my upbeat party set starting with Uptown Funk. I must say guests at this wedding really knew how to party and were up dancing throughout.
After singing I was then join by Saxophonist Simon and Percussionist Ben who were booked via my Entertainment Agency Ntertain and I then became DJ for the remainder of the night.

Well I had a fantastic day at Styal Lodge Wedding venue and hope all Nicola and Sean’s guests enjoyed themselves.
